Second Gotcha

This is seriously hard to take in, but it has been two (!) full years since we met Lainey for the first time. I can hardly believe it's been that long, and yet we can't hardly remember life without her. This girl is seriously awesome. She's spunky, funny, smart, and she makes a pretty mean (pretend) cup of tea.

Last year, at one year home, there was one red balloon waiting for her. This year, there are two red balloons. One balloon for each precious year we have had with our girl. For two years that we have gotten the privilege of being her momma and daddy - getting to be the ones who get to hold her, sing to her at night, kiss her ouchies, and receive the sweetest "I wuv you's" and gentle hugs. We are the lucky ones, the blessed ones.
